The Acumen Solution is a web-based asset management and live asset condition monitoring system that was created to support maintaining high-value asset used in plants like mining sites. The system is focused on using NDT (Non-destructive Testing) methods and data analysing algorithms to prolong life of monitored assets.
The system is a multi-tenant solution that architecture takes best practices from the Microservices approach of building such solutions. The frontend application is based on AngularJS framework, which communicates with services written in .Net Core. The data model was created in code-first mindset and the database of choice is MS SQL Server.
